Adblue / DEF delete or remapping

what it is?

Adblue is a chemical usually used in SCR that is Selective Catalyst Reduction on diesel vehicles. This is done with the sole purpose of reducing NOx levels in the car. This AdBlue fluid is the combination of urea and demineralized water that is injected into the vehicle’s exhaust system before adding an SCR catalyst. When this is done, a chemical reaction accuses, which results in converting the NOx into Nitrogen as well as water vapour.

ADBLUE/DEF DELETE OR REMOVAL

Benefits of adblue /def delete or remapping

Adblue removal has several different benefits, including improved vehicle performance AdBlue removal which include improved vehicle performance, reduced running cost as you no longer have to spend money on AdBlue fluid, and even increased vehicle horsepower when combined with remapping. AdBlue removal minimizes the vehicle’s emission. In addition to the vehicle’s performance, and ecological benefits, there are also many commercial advantages that increase fuel efficiency.

Problems associated with DPF, EGR AND ADBLUE

Some of the problems are:

  1. EGR valve problems, such as stuck or fouled EGR components – EGR failure contaminates the inlet with oily “wet” residues, causing excessive dense soot loading.
  2. Turbo failure – oil passes through turbo seals into the exhaust housing and the burnt oily residue enters the DPF, causing excessive dense soot loading.
  3. Diesel exhaust is notoriously dirty and oily soot and carbon buildup from the exhaust will eventually clog up and when this happened the performance of the engine will be drastically reduced and sometimes the car will be automatically go to limp mode.
